Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia)
The Pontificia Universidad Javeriana is a Colombian private university founded in 1623. It is one of the most important Jesuit universities in Latin America. The University is made up of 18 principal academic units, about 1,400 academic staff, 19,000 undergraduate students and 4,300 graduate students. The University has a long tradition of educating people for public leadership. Among its alumni there are not only former Presidents of Colombia and the majority of the Ministers of our country since the 1960s, but also world leaders in education and health policy innovation such as Vicky Colbert (2013 WISE Prize) and Alejandro Jadad (Founder of the Centre for Global eHealth at the University of Toronto).
